Find Your Parent Compass

An interactive workshop designed to help parents of young adults find confidence and peace in transitional times.

The workshop allowed me to pause and really think about my values and what I truly want to guide me in my day to day conversations with my kids.

I liked the interactive format of the workshop. Hearing other people’s stories helped me reflect on what I am doing and how I am handling sticky situations.

Your kids are going to college. What an amazing experience for them! So much of what you have prepared for and anticipated is happening! Right now! Fabulous!

But what about you?

This is also an enormous transition for you, and I imagine you feel a million feelings all at once.

I sometimes feel scared and a little shaky about how to parent my college-aged children. They face so many new freedoms, and I feel a bit unsure how to parent “bigger kids, bigger problems.” It’s can be hard to figure out what my role is as they grow up.

I do know that my best parenting is directly related to me feeling my best. This workshop is an opportunity to continue to evolve as a parent and feel intentional in this transition.

The workshop:

  • have fun with a few uplifting coaching exercises that help you identify your parenting style

  • engage in reflection to define your parenting values

  • develop a compass to stay on course and maintain your values through this exciting time in your child’s life

The impact:

  • Enrich your child’s independence

  • Connect with other parents to share your experiences and learn from theirs

  • Feel great about your parenting

  • Navigate your own worries and fears

The exercises allowed me to step back and really think about how I want to show up for my kids in a way that aligns with my values and helps them be their best self
