Supporting parents is at the core of my professional life.
You did it!
Your kids are going to college and entering the adult world. What an amazing experience for them! So much of what you have prepared for and anticipated is happening! Right now! Fabulous!
But what about you?
Their leaving the nest is also an enormous transition for you, and I imagine you might feel a million feelings all at once. Sorting through all those emotions is easier with help!
Parent coaching is what I do.
I have supported parents wrestling with how to best relate to their hormonal teen. I’ve helped parents who worry their young adult children lack direction and purpose. Their emerging independence demands a shift in your parenting style. I am here to help you navigate those changes and discover what is possible for you as your children simultaneously embrace their new freedoms.
A little about me.
Currently, I coach college students—in life skills and emotional management. I’ve been an English teacher in Massachusetts for more than 20 years. And I am a parent of a D1 athlete and a thriving junior in college who knows the transfer-athletic recruitment process.
All of these experiences combined are what help me to support you in feeling your best. I trained with the Co-Active Training Institute and work with a mentor coach to expand and refine my coaching skills.
I use wit, creativity and my depth of professional experiences to support you.
I practice yoga, swim on a masters’ swim team, read, and do art.
